I’m sure the hookah and incense more than cove the smell, if that’s what you mean. Plus Frigg’s boots are probably chaotic good with good stats.
Hurray! New avatars. Really? Eew? I thought it was sweet: like ahhhh, they are warming their feet by a fire, how comfortable. (But maybe a little sinister, too, like: uh-oh, are they going to be caught without their shoes on when an emergency arises?!?)
Always a blast to check out the new random avatars. It’s better than coke and strippers!
Then you wake up the next morning with a bloody nose and a strange rash.
I miss being a giant killer robot.
I wonder if there’s some sort of rhyme or reason to it…

The Auld Grump
To be frank, incensed was not my first reaction. It scent me looking through the dictionary so I was punked into learning something. Fuel to the fire it may have been, but I kept my balm and enjoyed the essence of a new chapter cover.
I’d have been fuming over that smut.
But if you are saying that it is smoke without fire…. Sage advice. :P

Well, I guess it’s one kind of bird.
Oh no, don’t tell me Guilded Age is getting rebooted.
Only five pair of boots? Guess Gravedust kept his on… Though I think I recall he wears sandals… Too lazy to check.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t those be (l-r) Frigg’s, Byron’s, Bandit’s, S’rynj’s and . . . Gravedust’s?
Personally, I think 2, 4 and 5 are Scipio, Rachel and E-Merl, respectively. So it would go Frigg, Scipio, Bandit, Rachel, and E-Merl. Which, aside from Gravedust, is everyone who went on the last mission.
Hmm. I see at least two axes to grind. And from the look of the mantlepiece there, this one will be dragon out a long time. I did however notice in the lower right corner what appears to be a hooka into the next page..

I know its free and all but somehow I just cant help sayin: Covers are a rip off :(
Covers are a pause, delineating storyline breaks and shifts. Chapter title pages in novels do the same. Surely you don’t complain about a ripoff when you have to turn that extra page?

Very picturesque cover for this chapter; all the footwear resting by the fireplace gives off a very home-like feel to it.
Waltrip really put a lot of hearth and sole into this one.
