I just love all of panel 3. For some reason I’m thinking “D&D meets Benny Hill” and I mean that in the best possible way. Plus it has Bandit in it, and she’s simply as awesome as anyone under four feet tall can possibly be.
Hmm… looks like we’re gonna get an extended monologue on the Savasi.
(I suspect we’ll see more of these as the Savage ‘heroes’ appear; it all makes sense… up until now, the ‘bad guys’ have just been mooks and annoying villains to beat on.)
Urist McMechanic has been miserable lately. He has sustained major injuries recently. He has ruined a masterful quantum stone trap in tragic error recently.
This reminds me of a D&D campaign I once ran that frequently featured a dwarf PC chasing human midgets around with an extremely large hammer. I’m confident Bandit can avoid the way that tended to turn out since (A) she’s the PC here and (B) she’s Bandit.
“Little pork chop?”
I wonder whether that sounds better in the original.
Savasi slang for anything with pigtails.
Them dwarves are lookin’sharp. Love their design.
Short and to the point.
One of them prefers to be quite blunt, it seems.
They are edging towards a victory.
not all of them strive for higher precision
I’m enjoying how this chapter is simultaneously including story while giving an action sequence and making it work, because Bandit.
That’s all the explanation it needs.
That’s all the explanation many things would need.
Bandit’s a trap? Oh, oh god… o_o
Let’s not get carried away. We’ve yet to see the good Admiral make an appearance to confirm this.
I’m…more okay with that than I thought I’d be.
What tag do you use to do mouseover text like that? acronym?
It looks like it is indeed acronym.
IUTATAIWNUTABTCOTSDLMDCSHATAAISAETT
I’m ok with this.
Love Bandit’s “running away” face in panel 3.

Keeping up with Bandit? Dwarves really ARE lethal sprinters…
deadly in a sprint, but wasted on cross-country…
Keeping up with Bandit while wearing plate armour and wielding heavy weapons… :/
Silly dwarves, shipping is for readers!
Also, Bandit’s limited experience with Savasi does allow her another observation: Gravedust is the sexiest Savasi she’s ever seen.
Be careful with such talk… with these monologue(s), we might get examples of what passes for ‘sexy’ amongst the females of the Savage Races.
What… you thought there’d only be neckked elf babes in this story?!?)

Panels 3/4: Bandit has lost a pigtail to the Savasi. Cannot unsee.
No it is there. See the non-boredered yellow by her neck. She has Epic Pigtail evasion +10 anyways, nothing can touch those tails!
Bandit Runs Away Irking Nameless Savasi
Stop. Hammertime.
JOIN THE CAMPAIGN TO STOP HAMMERTIME JOKES.
I think the Hammertime jokes stopped around 1991. We are entering an alternate reality where the Hammer is still relevant. Hammer don’t hurt me.
I voted for Mallet.
Hammer don’t hurt me… no more.
Can’t touch this… Duhhh duhh duuh dUHNNN
“Okay, Urist, they’re in! Pull the lever. … NO! NOT THAT LEV–” *blublgherblghr*

The other great tragedy of Dwarven defenses: Urist McLeverpuller is on break.
No names for the Savasi pursuers in the Tags? They’re probably not long for this world.
Redshirt #1, Redshirt #2 …
No, no. They’re dwarves.
Brownbeard #1, Brownbeard #2.
Cheesemaker #1, Cheesemaker #2, Nobledwarf #1…
