Chapters come and go very fast with this five-times-a-week schedule.
Well, the Peacemakers managed to do something without either clobbering it into permanent submission or ending in an almost total party kill and splitting Bandit from the group.
Good job everybody not Byron.
Hey, Byron done good, too.
He recognises that the only way Adventurers can acknowledge a change in the Status Quo is when two sides that should be working together have a really big fight that seems serious but ultimately no one dies. Comics have taught us this.
Byron making up for the whole Souff Koural thing: 2% complete. (People forget roughly 99 good deeds after a FUBAR, right?)
No glamour shots of Bandit since after that, right? Wanted to know if troll blood is good enough to prevent “scars large enough they could pass as tan lines”.
Elderly looking hands getting sworn upon a Gastonian… Law book? I don’t like the look of that.
First thing I thought was “that’s Byrons red tunic”. But I guess other people could wear red.
Everyone wears red… on the inside.
And once again I have Gravedust. This pleases my beard.
On a second thought (and view) it does look a bit more like Byron’s hand. The red matches, the skin pigment matches. With current events happening as they are, Overkillengine had a good idea a bit further into the comments; maybe this is a formation of the actual guild, instead of the ‘Gastonian Peacemakers’. It makes sense how Syr’nj would lead one and Byron the other, or how Byron would take over due to Syr’nj’s increased workload.
Indeed I it looks most like Byron’s hand to me. Legal customs, a boatload of adventurers seeking better rights and representation, etc: I think this is where the whole Guilded Age of Adventuring actually starts.
Time to see who I have.

So…have the adventurers maybe thought of forming a Guild in order to negotiate better employment terms with the Gastonian state?
They conveniently already have a group with a great deal of political and military leverage. The Peacemakers, either pay mercs a decent wage or make peace with your gods.
Careful, Byron, that book might bite. You can never be sure in these fantasy settings.
