“Fuck, they’re everywhere. I can’t keep readin’ ’em!”
“Reload! Reload!”
“I’m outta bookmarks!”
“Shit, I’m calling it. Broken arrow, broken arrow! Direct all eggheads to my position! Coordinates, LIMA – INDIA – BRAVO – ROMEO – ALPHA – ROMEO – YANKEE, over!”
Byron: “Hey, Gravy, check this out. A series of peery-oddicals from a Mr. H. Hefner, called ‘Boy-Play’. The illustrations are flawless; but I’ve heard most readers got it for the quality articles.”
While your Avatar is way more fitting than mine for corrections: I think you should take Rachel in Panel 2 into account, too, ending up with 12 figures of 6 characters.
“The hand that holds the Plowshare shall join with the hand that holds that commands the army.”
Maybe that should be changed to the following:
“The hand that holds the Plowshare shall join with the hand that holds what commands the army.”
Actually, I think it should be
“The hand that holds the Plowshare shall join with the hand that commands the army.”
My guess is that Our Authors couldn’t decide between ‘that commands’ or ‘that holds’, temporarily put both in place, and forgot to get rid of one?
Ze hand zat holds zat commands ze arrrmy?
Awkward, that.
They’re going to read the shit out of those books.

“Negative good buddy. I’ve gone winchester with bingo fuel. You are on your own.”
Shhh!
“Where’s my highlighter pen? WHO STOLE MY HIGHLIGHTER PEN!”
Byron: “Hey, Gravy, check this out. A series of peery-oddicals from a Mr. H. Hefner, called ‘Boy-Play’. The illustrations are flawless; but I’ve heard most readers got it for the quality articles.”
X-DDD
I think you mean triple-X, triple-D. ;)
Twelve figures of five characters in three panels. I like how obvious it is that everyone’s working in the same basic, small-ish area.
Uhm. I think it’s 11 figures of 6 characters…
Still grand, though.

Don’t forget the statue. Thirteen!
I stand corrected.
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerds.
>.>
I am so sorry I did that.
Is Rachel grinning because she loves books or grimacing because they are heavy?
How can you tell she is doing either? O_o
Second panel, upper right. To me it looks like the books being quite heavy.

maybe its “join with the hand that holds, that commands the army.”
It’s a euphemism for holding hands with their fellow man, while both fellows hold their manhoods.
At least, that’s what it would mean, if Frigg had written it.
Sorry, sorry. I’ll behave. (*goes and stands in corner*)
Even the statue finds this boring.
I just like the first quote, and it’s attribution. Situations like this *do* need healthy pragmatism.
*praises T and Kahn for finally giving Gravy some dialogue*
