Not as easy as you might think. The cultists are, afterall, underground in infiltrated in both respective societies. The Shamans might be able to pick it up, but their talents are not directed towards matters of life and death like Gravedust’s are…
So Syr’nj still has burns on her back… then why are the still having her lay on her back!?
Syr’nj was a Medic for crying out load, she should know better!
I just hope they resolve the cultist issue without we all need to work together/sweep everything under the rug.Take out the cultists, then the Rebellion
Or the two groups could work together, gain a new understanding of each other’s sides, and then return to their own peoples to be forces of change (especially changing the ugly parts of both sides) and the eventual harmony of all the races.
But, eh, if you’d rather one side genocided the other that’s your call.
We just established that the Rebellion champions defeat the Peacemakers every time.
100 % correlation!
So, obviously, distracting them with the cultist’s monster starting to destroy the world is the only way.
Then the rebellion can show how they’re not so bad after all, and when the Champions are weakened the Silver Centurion can kill ’em.
The Rebellion has then helped stop the cultist menace, and the non-monstrous races will stab them in the back.
Because humans.
I don’t think there’s any danger of that. On the Humans side, the only focused concern for the Cultists (thus far) comes from *some* of the Heroes. As for the Savage Races, the Cultists aren’t even on the radar screen since their only obvious deviltry is being inflicted on Humans.
Until the story dictates otherwise, the Savage Races won’t give a hoot about the Cultists… it’s NOT their problem.
At first I thought the attention marks in the last panels were ! marks instead. So when I saw they went from ! to !! to !!!, I automatically heard Metal Gear alert noises in rising pitch. Pavlov would be proud.
I can’t stop seeing Ardaic giving Syr’Nj the thumbs’ up in panel two. I know he’s not, but I see the extended thumb and I automatically think he’s showing approval for the dropping of Great Graiya’s Grapes. “I think you need to rest, Syr, but that was a dope alliteration right there.”
And don’t forget global warming.
And Reapers.
Read it as Anal Reapers… I have that DVD! Just kiddin’… it’s on Blu Ray.
Ah yes, the “Reapers.”
We have dismissed that- ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL!
And Gorram Reavers.
And Super AIDS
And fear itself
And Heat Seeking Diabetes
And Space Herpes
and Vorpal Syphillis
And the spanish inquisition.
And Explosive Leprosy.
And diminishing text space.
And irritating people with pamphlets.
And Ninjas…Always expect Ninjas.
And irradiated people with pamplets.
And the Nazgul.
And my Axe!
And my
SwordGlaive!I’m picturing personal assistants with powers.
The Flood from Halo
And cats. No virtual world can survive a catsplosion.
This catocalypse happened in another dimension. Only a matter of time until it reaches theirs.
And SCP 682…
And Income Tax
Ah, good, someone’s got their priorities in order.
I wonder when the Champions are going to have a similar realization?

Well, it might be as simple as running into the…whatever that Sundar is currently tracking, since it has apparently entered the earthly realm.
Anyone see how her burn mark makes her tree tattoo look like its on fire? Just sayin.
So Syr’nj still has burns on her back… then why are the still having her lay on her back!?
Syr’nj was a Medic for crying out load, she should know better!
Maybe she’s lying in a mat of medicated gauze or something.
Or, a bed of moss?

But–… But DRAMA! We want the drama of seeing good people kill each other! GIVE ME THE SENSELESS SLAUGHTER, YOU PEONS!
We just established that the Rebellion champions defeat the Peacemakers every time.

Humans? But you said non-monstrous.
You got somethin’ against monsters, then? Typical human.

Harky has expressed concern over the cultists in the past, but at the time his more immediate priority was the state of tye war.
Gee, Syr’nj loses one battle and already gets strategic myopia. Am I the only one surprised?
At first I thought the attention marks in the last panels were ! marks instead. So when I saw they went from ! to !! to !!!, I automatically heard Metal Gear alert noises in rising pitch. Pavlov would be proud.
Alert!
finally, a speedfreak we can all respect!
OH SNAP!
I imagine that being an expletive among Wood Elves, for some reason…
If you need to threaten to pull rank, you are ALREADY pulling rank.
It’s ok, Ardaic would love to serve under Syr’Nj.
And behind
Politicians do it from on top.
Commanders do it on the front.
We coltists merely want to breed out horses in peace.
And pay homage to the legacy of Sam Colt, of course!
Now that is one epic mouseover text.

I enjoy how they have an increasing number of surprise lines across the page.
