“Siege team here; Have located HR department, but H.R. not present, Have discovered the 5 tubers, and freed them. Are bringing them to rendezvous point, over.”
“Big 10 here. Where were the tubers?”
“In the commissary kitchen.”
“*sigh* You’re returning with potatos then?”
The guards were gathered at the front of the building, probably for a partial shift change. They are now dispersing back to their regular rounds, probably solo, throughout the complex. It’s clearly on schedule, not a thing the team has done.
Could be next shift taking over, not all shifts have the same number of guards on all shifts. Facility I worked previous had 25 guards on 1st shift (6:00am to 2:00pm) 15 on Second shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm) and then 10 on duty for 3rd shift 10:00pm to 6:00am. Daytime is busier with people/visitors/public so more manpower needed
In the last week or so I’ve been vaguely building a “Who’s on First”-esque story in my head about a man named Roger O’Kay, who cannot manage to communicate *at all* over walky-talkies. Probably won’t actually get written, but I thought I’d share.
you adds or page is forcing viewers in FF to bottom of page . I can’t scroll back up to read the comic. It’s forcing a page down to view your Kickstarter add and the side bar animated/video adds on right. Can’t pause it. Can’t READ THE COMIC. Please fix.
Did they ever write these code names down? If not, how do they all know that Xero is spelled with an X? Or are they all saying something like “Chchchcero”.

I’m embarrassed to admit this pun took me an abnormal amount of time to get.
Why is Shanna code-named “42”?
And what got the guards to disperse? It can’t be a shift change, or else new guards would have taken their place.
It’s because 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
And it is what you get when you multiply 6 by 9 – In base 13!

I think that’s her age.
Oh, to be so young again…
Because of the gun

There was an early video game named ‘Roger Wilco’.
He’s the main character of Sierra’s Space Quest.
Hah! Great minds think alike, eh? :P
And there was Space Quest as well.
I really like this idea. Probably would be harder to produce well than one might expect.
This is siege team. We are ready to cut off their supply lines and force them to surrender or starve.
THIS is how I want raids in MMOs to be.

Heh… It’s a raid.
So, the big question is….
Did they ever write these code names down? If not, how do they all know that Xero is spelled with an X? Or are they all saying something like “Chchchcero”.
I’m not following where the “ch” sound would come from, let alone multiple syllables’ worth.
Cochran’s Five. Not as cool as Ocean’s Eleven, but kicking just as much ass.
This, I like.
And for the record (who keeps the records, anyway), I think it’s more of a Hitchhiker’s reference.
