Frigg’s weapon is blunt with piercing spikes yet it does slashing damage. She truly has transcended the mortal coil. I mean what’s next, unlimited max dex bonus to AC on her glowy plate armor?
Well, the glowy hammershit does seem to be exaggerating the spikes on her morningstar, and the demons don’t seem to be all that substantial to begin with – they’re pretty much glass cannons, can’t take much but can convert an opponent with only a minor injury. So it’s possible that her hammershit-enhanced morningstar is able to pass straight through them despite technically being bludgeoning/piercing, with an effect that LOOKS like slashing.
Blunt, sharp, if you’re swinging hard and/or fast enough it ceases to make much difference. Drop a rubber ball from high enough to reach terminal velocity and if it lands on someone’s head it will punch right through them. The “demons” could also only be semi-corporeal. The more surprising thing is Frigg demanding intel before making chunky salsa out of someone who at this point she has no reason to think doesn’t deserve it. She’s looking for the smart solution instead of the simplest one. It has gotten real.
If you think a rubber ball smaller than someone’s head can reach a terminal velocity on earth so high it can go /through/ someone’s skull you are very seriously underestimating friction and/or the hardness & density of a skull.
“Explain me” is a street talk colloquialism, which is something Frigg would use and is in keeping with her character.
And the tags are Frigg, Ulak, Silver Samurai, Viper, Rogue, and Wolver- crap! Almost confused this with a 34 year old comic book story.
“I think I have second thoughts about this end-of-the-world-thing.”
“Why, all of a fucking sudden?”
“I found this month’s winning lottery ticket in my pocket.”

Lower your graphical settings enough and almost everything is a blade.
When you look close enough, no polygons are ‘dull’
There’s only a fine line between a hammer and an axe.
That line is called the blade.
I thought it was called the handle.
Wait, are we still talking about an axe?
For all I know, we’re talking about dance-fighting at this point.
Erfworld reference ftw
use anything with enough force and it does slashing dmg or piercing dmg instead of blunt dmg

Pretty sure that’s “ripping” damage, the highest level of blunt damage possible.
This. SC’s sword cuts are crisp and planar, while Frigg’s spiked mace is bluntly tearing ’em apart. Well illustrated by JW.
Now that’s an insightful observation!

Shh… no physics now, only dreams.
I’ll just leave this here.

That’s because it’s all fake. Watch the cultist’s tusk…
Seems odd that Ulak would run in the same direction as HR and his minions. Maybe he couldn’t run to the sides.
Well, if he REALLY doesn’t want to die, presumably he doesn’t want the world to end either.
My has she grown, using diplomacy that doesn’t start with smashing.
Well, she’s threatening a smashing, so it’s still in character.
Indeed and she has generally questioned things in he own special way where Buckethead is more likely to execute his duty than question it.
In the last panel, “explain me” should be “explain to me”. Oh, and there are no tags.

Nice. Solid X-men reference, with Hydra aligned foes.
You missed Cyclops though! I guess he’s just off-panel.
Good to see the Silver Centurion magic is still working. And, apparently, grants the ability to generate and throw thunderbolts?
Could just be some holojavelins.
Yeah, I took it to be a javelin.
“Shoot, I was going for ‘bad’.”
“I think I have second thoughts about this end-of-the-world-thing.”

‘I didn’t want to be a cultist. I wanted to be…a lumberjack!’
‘Killing wood elves doesn’t count.’
‘Does too.’
