So will gravedust be regaining his spectral powers then? Also Frigg still tanking, even to the end the party keeps their roles. One of the reasons I love this comic.
Would be neat to have Byrozerker with rabid “KILL” words all ’round his head, as he previously had in full zerk mode. Or “GODKILLl”? I dunno. He decides. Wait. DEICIDE!
Go for the nuts! And if he’s busy laughing to himself because megalomaniacal self-proclaimed gods have no need for such things start talking trash about his manhood and use the opportunity to slip a bomb up his nostrils while he’s distracted!
But on a more serious note I’d bet anything his massive ego is his best viable weak point.
This remind me that fight, at the end of the first season of the webserie Lost Levels (there are several creations named Lost Levels) : Fantom and the virus Spectre versus Ystos.
I have no objections. To any of this. Everything is perfect. If I had to choose one thing that is perfecter than the others, it’s how Syr just drops dynamite into Gravy’s arms. And the “should” reference that I missed but have now been made aware of. Then, it was a gnoll. Now, it is a god. What’s the difference?
Well, for one thing, the G isn’t silent anymore, hyes.
Syr’Nj has some grip strength! Gravy’s short, but he’s fairly stout, and she’s holding him with one hand (while somehow also maintaining balance and course, using a jetpack with absolutely no control surfaces).
This berserker spirit remind me the virus Spectre in Lost Levels (an old French webserie) and this fight against H.R. remind me the fight against Ystos at the end of the first season of that serie.
The way the the group try to kill H.R. here is similar to the way Phantom (respelled Fantom in the next seasons) and Spectre try first to kill Ystos in that fight, and I think the result will be the same.
So will gravedust be regaining his spectral powers then? Also Frigg still tanking, even to the end the party keeps their roles. One of the reasons I love this comic.
So that’s why being an avatar for Gaia didn’t work out. Syr’ng’s scientific nature rejected her.
“I really don’t like battle plans that include words like ‘should’ or ‘probably’…”
But I do like battle plans that feature large amounts of high explosives!
“As the size of an explosion increases, the number of problems that it cannot solve approaches zero.”
Then don’t have a theory based scientist planning your battles. “Nothing is certain. There are no absolutes. And I can say that absolutely.”
There is also unknown unknowns.
And remember the ULTIMATE MAXIM: No Battle Plan ever survives first contact with the enemy!
There is one battle plan that always survives contact with the enemy. “Improvise.”
Survive contact, perhaps. But when you field a legion of improv comics, prop comics, and mimes do you expect to win in the end?
This is so the raid group trying the newest raid on the server when no one has a clue on the mechanics
Would be neat to have Byrozerker with rabid “KILL” words all ’round his head, as he previously had in full zerk mode. Or “GODKILLl”? I dunno. He decides. Wait. DEICIDE!
Aaaand I somehow renamed myself “W”. What a nukular misremembering.
Slaying 101 – Gaseous forms are harder to punch, but easier to burn or disperse.
Bandit’s just happy she doesn’t have to participate in this fight with her daggers, like that other time.
Lol! Nice catch. I didn’t get the throwback.
“I hate should.“
An 8-year callback joke. That takes commitment.
I just love how Frigg is annoyed at being the responsible adult here.
“Listen carefully, because i’m only going to say this once……..”
BIG
BADA
BOOOOOM…..
Nice blend of quotes there, I heartily approve. :D
Frigg: Tanking
Best: Providing support
Byron: drawing aggro and dps
Syr’Nj and Gravedust: figure out how to win.
…Wait a minute. This reminds me of the first strips with the kobold shaman thing at the volcano.
Happy I’m not the only one who thought that
I’m looking at those bombs Syr’nj is pouring out of her bag into Gravy’s hands. He’s still got his bow, yes-no? :D
We’re so close to the end and this just keeps getting more and more epic…..Imma miss this webcomic lol
My sentiments (and gravatar) precisely. Every time I open a new page, I get a bittersweet pang.
I hate “should”.
Well, it’s a should-y world they live in.
HA!
Callback humor…

Yeah, his pride is his weakness, so aim for his crotch. ;)
There is no problem which cannot be solved via the proper application of high explosive.
If o had to guess they will execute their plan at the same time Carol executes her plan. Pun semi intended
Things happen for a reason.
Usually; physics.
And if not physics, metaphysics.
This remind me that fight, at the end of the first season of the webserie Lost Levels (there are several creations named Lost Levels) : Fantom and the virus Spectre versus Ystos.
They’re going to find a small, thermal exhaust port, about two meters in diameter.
And the structural weakness will turn out to be a conflict between his id and his superego.
His mouth. That’s where all the hot air is coming from. If he gets any angrier, he’ll have steam blasting out of his ears.
On the one hand, HR can seemingly morph at will. Even after his body is obliterated. So I don’t think he has any real structural concerns per se.
Then again, their new found strength all seems to be based on their beliefs. So, if Syr’Nj believes she can science it…
It kind of reminds me of the end of Flight of the Dragons where a wizard was defeated with simplified explanations of scientific law.

Maybe the “G” is silent. I think of HR more as “odd” than “God”. Final boss level odd, granted, but still odd.
Blowing up a God. Taking some history lessons from Pillars of Eternity i see xD

Annd here they are, right back at the beginning: On an unstable structure the size of a mountain, playing with explosives.
Berzerker Byron just looks so HAPPY as he takes on those eye beams. I hope he’s going for the mustache, it’s the source of his power.
HR’s power that is.
(Hopes TheMessenger didn’t see that one.)

You’re all clear ‘Dust. Now let’s blow this thing and go home!
