I am sad the comic is ending, but glad it’s ending on its own terms, rather than hanging on for far too long.

Did anybody try to make sense of the movable type in the cover image? Here’s what I got:

First word could just as well be [M]e[n] or [M]e[mory] or something else entirely.
I was wondering if anyone was going to ask. This is what I used:

I must admit I’m going to miss Guilded Age. But I’m glad it’s not over yet!
And, of course, also glad that Arkerra (2) is still around despite HR’s attempts to destroy it.
It’s a pleasant change to see Gravedust smiling after all this.

I am really going to miss this webcomic.
I have been reading webcomics since 1998 when I first ran across Sluggy Freelance. Now both it and GA are in their wrapping up and I have dropped from my peak of 35+ webcomics down to a very modest 10. Of those GA is definitely in the top 10. :D
I have really enjoyed your story, and I will miss it when this chapter is over. Thank you for sharing your world with us.

Cut to Best, mountaineering for some reason. He slips on a loose rock, and since ropes are for losers, he falls, Goofy hollering all the way down. His body is found by a tribe of orcs, who bury him according to orcish custom.

Truly, berserkers are what they are, but I’ve not perceived them as “angry”.

Man, I wish I hadn’t found this comic near the end of the last chapter. Made for a good binge-read, however.
I am feeling tense. Is this the Savasi truly returning to their homeland in the mountains, led by a very much alive Gravedust? Or is this Gravedust’s “heaven bubble” fantasy while he moves on to the next life?
I’m pretty sure that as a Mystic (or at least, a past Mystic) he’ll be immune to that illusion when he passes on.
But who knows?
Gravy has switched to full-time-Moses I see.
Haven’t commented much (at all?) on this comic, but I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit over the past few years. Congratulations on a successful run. I look forward to seeing what you do next.
