Pinches are the oppressed class of lazy stoners in an oppressively work-happy gnome society.

    You should feel for them.

Okay, loving this. That sure is one sour-faced line-up o’ Pinches.
Except for the last one. He scares me.

You’re some mean ones, Messires Pinch
Your hearts are cold and cruel,
Your minds as stiff and narrow
As a rusty old slide-rule, Messires Pinch

You think you’re so smart, but you’re nothing but a bunch of tools!

How did I fail to notice how well-executed the Seussian art style was until this strip? My belated complements.

Does the plan involve an intricate pulley system? All the best plans involve an intricate pulley system…

That depends on the designer; e.g. Rube Goldberg or B.S. Johnson.

Other than the Pinches — it sounds approximately like Gnome Heaven! Stuff to do. SCIENCE! to do. No boundaries.

    Yep. Gnome Heaven.

    Loving this story SO MUCH.

The art is Dead-accurate Seuss, the poetry just the right amount of whimsy,
If you make this a book, I will surely buy three.

Oh quite accurate indeed, I must heartily agree!
And that alt-text, well, it all but slew me!
So to Mr. J, Mr. P, and Mr. T,
I offer three cheers of mirth, joy, and glee.

Plus four rounds of applause and adulation,
Five octaves of praises and admiration,
Six hurrah’s and a standing ovation,
As I await the next update with great anticipation.

        Gold Star.

Not for the praise, but for the poetry.

    Where do Pinches gather?

At Pinch Point, where smart Gnomes know not to go.

I am not as yet certain that I want to ask just what will end up growing three sizes, though it will most likely be safe for work.
