So maybe Carrie “Bandit” Keynes’ next quest is to give herself a new name?

I pronounce it “Keens”, rhyming with “means”.

When the group goes to Gnometown and pretends not to know Bandit, someone says her name and it’s written as “keens”. So I just thought that was how it was pronounced.

And you see, here I’ve always pronounced it KI-nes.

          Like Liet Keynes from Dune.

Interesting. So the stealing was merely a facet of a larger compulsion to seek thrills.

…and also to take other people’s stuff.

Ah, I think I get it now (took me long enough). Bandit started stealing because of a player in sepia world that started to take control (to whatever extent) over her. Think about it: that player probably started with some low-levelled carrier gnome girl doing some lame carrying quests for people everyday. After a while this got boring, so the player did what RPG players naturally do when presented with a harmonious world with no challenges: turn to crime, overriding Keynes’ will in the process. When this got boring, as nobody saw her, the player went all “fuck it” and tried to get caught. Now that Bandit’s found some proper excitement, her player on the other end is happy with it, thus less prone to crime. I think that this world is as real as sepia world, only that parts of it are magically connected to Hurricane’s servers via HR’s special brand of magic.

that would explain so much. yet somehow the buy guys still got away with making life slightly worse for all the gnomes. i wonder if we ever see those creeps again?

They’re mismatched colors. That happens to some of us playing in the game. Some issue with rendering graphics. Put in a ticket.

It’s the firelight making her left eye appear to be yellow, but in the third panel you can see her left eye is also blue when she turns the back of her head to the fire.

So, why are Frigg and Byron still in their armor? They’re relaxing, sitting around the fire, and frigg has her huge shoulder pads everywhere, just looking at it makes me feel uncomfortable.

If the answer is “shut up, you’re thinking about it too hard.” that’s cool. I totally accept that. Characters in comics usually don’t change clothes, they don’t go to the bathroom or sleep every eight panels either. . . But if there is a reason, I’d love to hear it.
