I played this videogame. Impossible creatures was an interesting game, if not a perfect one.
lets hope they don’t encounter a LobsterWhale, those can wreck your other units.
I liked that game a lot. Gorillasharks were pretty boss too…
omg a gorilla spider…and a treeceratops? >:o I almost missed it!
I took it to be a chameleon of some sort, with those projecting eyes. Is it part tree, or just a better mimic? And why can’t I find a good pun? :/
Wooden’t you like to know? Also: Spider gorilla gets big points, but sharp toothed mouths will contribute to the week of nightmares.
The real question is why the wood-elves don’t realize that this place is not only natural, it’s even bettur than the rest.

I get a feeling it sucks.
They tried releasing the song on CDs, but you couldn’t play them due to the scratches.
Every once in a while I get a nagging itch to listen to it though.

Spider monkey? I think not, good sir. That is the much-dreaded Gorillanchula. Look upon it’s 40 knuckles of doom and despair!
Eight thumbs up to this baptism. Also the ape-rachnid below . . .
So, what about the thing behind it that appears to be a spider with limbs closer in number and proportion (big arms, tiny legs) to an ape?
It turns into Gorillanchula at 16, then Silverblackwidow at 36.

I’ve heard of spider monkeys before… is this what they look like?
I hope this doesn’t turn out to be a grove mistake. Something tells me Byron may be required to release the animal within.
Spider Gorillas in the mist. I bet no one would bother trying to preserve those.
But they’re so Spider-Humanlike, and can be so peaceful and gentle…when they aren’t injecting you with digestive enzymes and feeding on your liquified innards.
I would have prefered to have mist this one…
they just ate the Wild Kratts.

Just now noticed Syr and Byr in the background of the last panel.

So does a Gorillantula eat Banana Slugs? (Oh, in that first panel, the clouds formation is known as a rolling cloud or a shelf cloud. This has to be my trippiest birthday yet.)

Ha! Awesome. Luckily, unlike many other fan favorites, the owlbear is OGL.
I’ll admit, creepy as the Gorillantula and the Stiltmouth are, I’m more concerned about that nest of Oak Weasels in the tree on the right-hand-side.

Guys. Spiders are big enough already IN REAL LIFE. Don’t plant the idea of possible gorilla-sized spiders from another dimension in my head.

I see… so it is the grove where species curious individuals go to mingle and have very inappropriet one night stands resulting in Urrors beyound belief… Why are her people scared again? Feline-Canine HIV…. Fear them.
…see, the only reason I no longer fear spiders is because I can crush them with the smallest gesture of my hand.
When the spider is also a gorilla, this becomes significantly more impossible. It hink the nightmares are going to come back…
Is Byron gonna have to fight spider monkey without being able to berserk? This can’t possibly go wrong.

My first instinct was to feel horror, and so I did. Then came the wonder of the creatures before me. Then I had acceptance that I would never have an idea as awesome as the gorranchula.
I wonder if that things catches bananas in a web.

I don’t know why I didn’t wrote this before, but the scenary in this page is GREAT! Really beautiful, I just keep staring at it. The first panel I think it’s the best, but not only it. The last one is nice, even the ones we can’t see the background clearly are impressive. Very good!
I completely agree. There’s a really nice choice of palette. That first panel is one of my favorite illustrations so far in this comic.
Thanks, guys. That’s very nice of you. I thought a muted color scheme and misty environment would give this grove scene an eerie quality. Glad you like it.
