Also that Guildmaster Persson’s a pretty cool guy. Mines for natural resources and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Hmm, the mining guild insigna is a pick, spade and hammer. Very nice.

And mmm, yes delicious pompous hatred. Let them stew in their juices.

considering his considerable trouble with the Council im sure reynolds is just enthusiastic to have some possible support in the meetings. He did try in vain after the gnome military walker incident to stand up to the injustice of the council… Having someone like her “grace” as a possible ally is like having Calvary reinforcements in a pitched battle :)… Always appreciated with gusto.

Seeing bullies get their comeuppance is always a treat.

(However, their reaction to this Council session will be seriously ungood… things are going to get rough for the elves.)

Rough, sure, after that temper tantrum, but who knows how long they’d really be willing to let that affect their war effort…spending too much time plotting for a counter-comeuppance takes away time they could be planning on stomping on the enemy.

Since it sounds like Navy boy hasn’t had great success on his part of the war homework, he doesn’t necessarily have the resources or time to dedicate to such a task, even if he delegated. So if anything happens, it’d probably all come from Miyamoto’s corner, since “municipal services” just makes me think of toilets and plumbing…I’m not even really sure what he’s supposed to be doing during a war. City maintenance? Maybe he’s got free time on his hands to plot, in which case he could really mess up refugee life for the elves. Yikes.

We can always hope for nothing at all to come of this, right? We can hope that they’ll just cool off and move along like adults, hmm? Nah…..

Beautiful page! Really getting the ‘expensive’ feel of the House of Houses’ construction. Also, effective contrasting colors throughout. (they say orange and teal is clichéd and overrated, and it is, but I feel it was done very nicely here)

D’awww….he’s so grateful that it makes him even more adorable than he already is. =) Can’t say I blame him, since he’s not exactly working with an easy crowd. And hah! I’m liking Persson even more, every time he opens his mouth. I just hope he doesn’t flip-flop in the future; that would be sad. (But really, GM Persson? It’s such a generic sounding, I-can’t-think-of-a-name name.) =P And now it’s time for the Archmage to chime in–what witty, pithy thing will the old elf add to the commentary? On a side note, you would think that the suppliers to the war machine would be on equal ground to the muckety-muks commanding the groups of people with large ships and sharp pointy things, but no, not the case…so it’s really not that surprising that the gatherers of the group (lumber, agriculture, mining), the school of thought that glues them together (by doing science at all of that, naturally), and the PR rep are gravitating to the one person so far that isn’t afraid to say what needs to be said. Won’t know about the Archmage until Wednesday…but I’m gonna guess he’s probably not against her general purpose.
