You know what? Your avatar totally skews the meaning of everything you say. You actually need to account for “semantic drift” when coming up with sentences.

It’s a good thing, too, or I’d be dragging you down with me. That’d be worse than Original Synonym.

So coldelectrons is disobeying the prime directive of Guildedage posting? How many times have you done that Jean-Luc?

Out of the human councilors Ardaic is probably my favorite character. He embodies gastonian principles the most fluently i think. Hes pragmatic, he can be very charismatic and polite when he needs to/when its appropriate be but also very blunt and cruel as well at least to non-humans. He is prejudiced against non-humans but he never lets that really form in malicious hate, his prejudices merely impact his judgement at times. Hes a racist/species because that’s how he was taught and what he knows from non-humans is from that and from fighting them (you demonize anyone if you fight them enough).

Even though we know form his past comments hes prejudiced against non-humans you always hold out hope for him to change his mind about them because you know hes both smart and pragmatic. I think thats why he represents Gastonian people probably the best out of all the councilors.

I would have said that Miyamoto was my favourite, but unfortunately he has said things other than “DEATH IS PREFERABLE” – if that was his catchphrase, and he said it at every possible opportunity, he’d get my vote.

“Your Grace, I’m afraid we’re out of the Chablis. Would one prefer the Sauvignon Blanc?”
      “DEATH IS PREFERABLE!”

After his Sam Elliot smile in panel four, the texturing of panel five creates the illusion (right?) that Ardaic is blushing. Hee hee, that’d be unexpected.

Since they’re into full-on War mode now I suspect Ardaic is gonna propose disbanding the Peacemakers. And do what with them, I wonder?

    … *Checks the date*

Seems the year has caught up. Curious. And it seemed most of the webcomic was marked as 2010 … Or at least that is when the most of it seemed to be happening. It lasted a very long time, to be sure. Everything since then has just flown by.
