    This is promising. Now, questions!
    1) How long does the main cast know each other in Arkerra time? Has it been more than one year already?
    2) How did Frigg get better from the poison in the last adventure again? Magic-healed herself, the nuns healed her, the poison wasnt that strong, something else?
    3) Anyone got a quick link about the faq where the author(s) write about Bandit and “who she is in the real world”? I think I saw it mentioned somewhere but I cant find it.

    Thanks folks!

She rejected the poison. She barfed up the poison.

      I think.

In DnD-speak, she just aced her first or second fortitude check to fight the poison.

Poisons and their like require fortitude checks every once and then, right?

Isn’t Bandit an NPC? I’m sure when she saved the party HR was upset that an NPC had stopped his plans.

No, HR referred to her several times as being a “regular player”. Especially after the wood elf arc, he was upset that it was a regular player (Bandit), that derailled his plot in founding out the staff stealing too early.

Whose color ? Are you asking if HR is Bandit ? Not a chance. That would mak no sense for HR complaining about Bandit ruining his plans if that was a possibility.

I agree! But back in the day when the “arkerra as a game” idea was first introduced, the only color scheme that somewhat looked like badit’s was HR’s necktie. I still remember some of the anguish from Bandit’s fans over that theory.

Or is Arkerra just that good a game?

E-Merl’s mighty legs to stand his ground…
Best’s muscular arms to not yield…

Yup, top heavy guys totally won’t work here even with that formidable torso. Frigg’s cheating here.

Next time put Scipio’s almost-everything, Best face, decoys and that nigh-invulnerability ball from our favourite half-elf. And a fire blade. Don’t forget the fire blade. Then she can almost pretend that’s a challenge.

I wanted to interpret it a little more charitably and less evilly, as ‘if you can’t get laid, focus on other things like getting stronger and realize you don’t need a man to be happy’. Or just ‘take your frustration out on your enemies on the battlefield’.

No, she just knocked his boots off. The rest of the stuff is floating dream rocks, not pieces of armor.

Would have been funnier if she had knocked him out of his boots instead, so they were just standing where he had been, but then we couldn’t have the great perspective in the last panel.

The standard trope (or stereotype) of a woman with Frigg’s personality is that she would also be clearly lesbian. One of the refreshing/unique things about Frigg is her raging heterosexuality combined with her lack of frilly femininity. A really unique character, and my favorite of GA.

Bullshit pickup lines to go with the patronizing ‘you’re a pretty little thing’. It is Frigg’s dream, after all, and she’s probably lived through her share of clueless douchebags.

My thought is that it’s Frigg’s real-world self’s experiences bleeding into the game stuff. She’s consciously so immersed in the game as to not realize it’s a game, but I’m betting her subconscious knows what’s what. And it’s coming through in a way no one will really realize.
