It apparently functions pretty similarly to Frigg’s situation with the Wolf God. Harky seems to indicate it’s the reason he’s still spry in his old age.

As far as leadership goes though, pretty sure that’s just a result of his spending a lifetime earning people’s respect and learning about war. Being a ridiculous supersoldier probably helped that happen, but now that he’s here he can maintain his position without that.

This is actually fairly interesting. We’ve seen what Frigg can do with her power, as well as what Hestia was capable of, depending on whether she is a Crusader herself or just another melee cleric. But based on the one time we saw him fight, this implies that Harky was holding back his power, to an almost comical degree.

It’s all but explicit at this point that Tectonicus’s influence is responsible for Harky’s heightened regeneration, but beyond that there’s probably more at work than just heightened strength/speed/reflexes. Gotta keep the class more interesting than Fighter+1, after all.

Basically what I’m saying is I want to see Harky (or Penk now, I suppose) burn some unrighteous mofos with their hands.

There seems to be a flaw with that system. It has Landsharks as the only race that can’t be musicians, but the existence of Rendermaw would prove that they can be.

According to HR, the players and NPCs that came in contact with the Five began becoming independent and having thoughts and actions of their own.

However, I think it’s clear by this point that that’s not the whole story, or even necessarily true. It could be that that was simply when HR became able to detect the differences. Personally, my theory is that HR is the one trapped in a simulation game, and has figured out a way to tap into the real world of Arkerra.
