Would Frig be worried about this slide from Lawful Good to Neutral Good? Probably not, even as a champion of a god she’s hardly D&D paladin material :-)
I ain’t saying Syr is wrong- but she’s gotta be smart about this. Any actions they do that is considered “rogue” by the Houses may come to bite the Adventurer’s Guild in the ass. Same thing for the Wood Elves. Syr and Peacemaker Team 1 will have to disassociate themselves from both while keeping lines of communication and cooperation- trust- open with the latter two. She can’t count on Gastonia to back her up on what she thinks is right, but maybe she can with the Guild and B’ial Vezk. They’re definitely going to need allies if the fight gets really tough. A party is not a raid.
I might be confused. In some meta way, Bandit is part of the world, right? A Non-Player Character? I’m thinking this team and family is made up of four human souls meshed with the world, and Bandit is just part of the world. I thought the fifth human soul was part of bardy Best, as it seemed to look like him in the pictures. Can anyone help clarify?
Best was the fifth “real person,” yes. As to whether Bandit is an NPC or a regular player character (not one the people immersed in the tank, just some dude at a computer) has not been answered. The identity of Bandit’s player, or if she has one at all, has long been speculated over. Her complicated, universe-accepted backstory, and the fact that she’s basically always “online,” lend credence to the NPC theory, but having played on RP servers in the past I’ve seen too many dedicated players that could pull off exactly what Bandit is. And since Arkerra magically self-corrects to account for players and their characters and backstories, it’s very difficult to say that she couldn’t be a person behind a computer.
But yeah, the fifth immersion tank person is/was Best.
I’ve been wondering about the identities of Bandit and the newer members of the team for quite some time, and I’m wondering how important it will turn out to be.
Chapter 19 page 19 shows HR upset that a non-embedded player discovered the theft. He was also upset that the wrong agent of the Savage races was sent to commit the theft.
The most obvious conclusion is that Bandit is the PC who discovered the theft.
My theory: the fifth tuber is gender fluid / androgynous. Both male and female attributes to his/her personality. It so happens that the male personality was kind of a prick, and got kicked out of the team early, and got put away semi-permanently when he found history would ignore him. Bandit has some rough edges (she’s a thief, after all) but much more a team player, so that part of “tube 5’s” personality has persisted.
“Mmmph. Schlomph. [SNORT] Narhm narhm. [SMACK] Shmumph; omm nom nom.”—Frigg
Words to live by.
To quote from “Flaming Saddles”:
“Now who can argue with that?”
Yo hound, oppose the sovereignty kinsman!
Help! Help! I’m being repressed!
Fornicate the fuzz!

ENOUGH!!!
Shant we all have some tea?
Can I make the tea? I have a wonderful recipe.
So.. it’s NOT called a ‘peecup’?
Your timing for offering refreshments is spot on. When it comes to appropriate behavior, you’ve got it down to a “t.”
What happened to everyone’s eyes?
After-meal drowsiness. Oh wait, Frigg’s the only one eating food. Okay, it’s Rohypnol.
It’s the ‘Brock effect’.
Youngblood’s disease.
Tencent signed on and demanded some changes.
Love, love, loved this page. A true family! GO TEAM!
Why do Frigg’s pants have back pockets?
Stupid, stupid details…
to store stuff in, duh :p
If she continues to eat more than she works off, she’ll eventually fill up those pockets from the inside out…
Handles for pulling them down.

Is Chaotic Good even a thing?
it is, and she always has been, and somehow I don’ think the GOD OF ANGER AND FUCK ALL was ever really “lawful” good to begin with…
…think of Frigg as a good version of the Red Lanterns, her god is a god of rage and trolololol.

Not really a spoiler, more of a question:

I’m pretty sure it has been confirmed by Word of God that Bandit is a player character, but I don’t remember when or where.
I think the prevailing theory is that Bandit is a non-tanked player character.
Chapter 17 page 22 shows Bandit catching Auraugu stealing Graiya’s bough. Gravedust showed up shortly thereafter.

Maybe Bandit is Payet Best’s alt.
