Is Astoria related to The Dazzler? If so, can we see her in a skin tight rhinestone outfit?

It’s inspired more by the “Color Spray” spell from a certain famous fantasy RPG.

The Kick-Backers seem like they’re entitled to kick backside and take names.

They are the Kick-backers, given life by the will of the net. And it’s dollars.

They are … the KICK-BACKERS! Whenever there’s oppression, they kick it – to serve justice, and avoid hand bruises! Interestingly their name came from their chief financial supporter, an investor who became rich thru illegal kickbacks.

I have to wonder exactly how long they waited before springing out to attack the cultists, and then I have to wonder why they did so and what happened as they did.

For the same reason why you’re often not told about the side quest early enough to actually STOP the massacre before it starts.

          That can drive me nuts.

He’s dying! There’s nothing that can be done.

          …I can heal him.

          No, it’s too late!

Seriously, I specced this character out to heal. Hold on…

          He’s already dead!

This build can and has resurrected party members when all I had to work with was half a gallbladder. I. CAN. HEAL. HIM.

          :cutscene ends:

Half a gallbladder… Fell out of my chair laughing. Seriously, doesn’t matter whether it’s healing or killing – you’re left screaming “No, I can fix this! Why won’t you let me fix this?!” Meanwhile your character stands in shock over the evil villain doing an evil, villainous thing.

I think the only one who waited was the IdTD (Isidro de Tylduarte Damascus) and the distraction has just arrived. Too late for the wood elves, but perfectly in time to ambush the ambush.

No matter, the whole town will respawn in 15 minutes. Then you can play it again for different loot.

It’s always possible that they did it as soon as they were able. Why must it be assumed that they were just lying in wait in that perfect position the entire time? Someone may have alerted them and they arrived as soon as they were able to do so.

Please feel free to elaborate any pertinant details on the other new characters Thanks to everybody who contributed. What are they trying to do? Animated Series?

Wow, pretty flattering to see Astoria again!

Funny thing is, I didn’t even realize she’d gotten done until very recently. A friend was going through the archives and pointed me to her. So this is all new to me as of around a month back. I somehow missed the Kickbacker day she came out on… bizarrely, given I was checking obsessively at the time.

But still, great to see her and Tobias and Isidro and Markus!

So, I haven’t checked GA for a few days, I’ve been busy. I’m saying that so that you can understand how mind bogglingly weird this page was when devoid of all context.
It’s still pretty weird now that I’ve read the rest of the chapter, but it least it makes a bit of sense now.
