          [conspiracy]

He’s probably an FBI Agent who’s created a psych profile, and fell in love with it. He watches you while you sleep, has tapped your phone line, watches your every tweet. His mission is to arrest you, but he’s stalling…

Or, he just thinks he knows people by how they write comics, or something. Which makes him kinda arrogant, like Best…

Annnd there’s the reason Best is not present in the…flash-forwards? Whatever you call them, the opposite of flashbacks. Next chapter will be LFM Rogue preferred, and in comes Bandit.

Also now Best fights Byron, maybe?

Foreshadowings hint at the themes of what will come.

The things in question are outright saying and showing what’s going to happen.
They’re out-of-order scenes. There’s surely a more particular term for them.

        I can’t even follow Best’s thinking.

Maybe, the kid isn’t dressed like Bandit but that Bandit dresses like a little kid. It would be taking advantage of her slight build and more than likely, making people feel she wasn’t a threat until it’s too late of course.

This crosses several lines, both moral and contractual, saving some big tweest that will explain it all. If not, that picture of Byron and Best fighting just got explained.

And also, Byron towing that brat around by his ear rocks. Byron’s tough, but fair; even though the kid tried to light him on fire, it’s still a kid.

Awesome! Now all those people who for some reason thought the little rich kid was Von Carnaj can shut the hell up already!

    (does a little dance)

Whether or not Best needs to be converted into raw materials now really comes down to whether those shackles are wired in series or in parallel. If there’s a shorter length of chain between each shackle, all he’s done is create the world’s most awesome theme park ride and those kids better love it or he might charge admission. If the only thing between left shackle and right shackle is an upper class anklebiter, he’s created one of the most spectacular atrocities ever seen, and you just can’t let him keep his keys to the team locker room after something like “The Terrible Rain Of Armless Children Of Aught-Four”.

Love that Gravedust is all “…Whatever, n00b.”

Problem: Anchors are only effective if they hit the ground. Child one is about one foot off the end of that chain. Best’s plan either fails or kills at least one child.

The point of the kids on the anchor is to prevent the town from firing on them, not necessarily anchoring the airship.

Aha, that makes sense. Because weighing down the anchor with children shouldn’t do anything special. The anchor should already be heavy, and the children don’t weigh the ship down any more or less if they’re on board or hanging underneath.

weighing down the anchor with children could always have been just because there wasn’t a rope attached to it before, and the nearest one was annoyingly far away, but in this case, I think there’s a plan.

They’ll probably hook onto a tree and not hit the ground directly, so they’ll only get horribly disfigured at worst.
