Experience the queer journey of an upbeat hippie and the friendships she makes along the way! A tale of self-discovery and love of many forms.
And then it’s time to visit Dwarfville. Where no doubt Frigg will find that she has much in common with them, not the least of which will be an extreme fondness for beer. And while they’re there, Dusty will take Byron on a vision quest to confront his inner chil- berserker and all of the trauma associated with it and his obvious interest in miscegnation.
“Thorny”….”pruning”…these words share a common association. It seems you’ve paired them on purpose, as if you were trying to point out some kind of theme or reference. C’mon brain don’t fail me now!
I greatly enjoy just how pleased Bandit is whenever her skills are complimented in any way. You can just see what she’s thinking in that expression. “As if ther’ w’er ev’r ne doubt.”
Meanwhile in Bandit’s head: Have I become any less awesome in the last five minutes? *Examines fingernails* Nope, I am in fact operating at maximum awesome capacity.
This guy is a great boss. Any other boss on the planet would have been like “Dusty, I’m pretty sure I’M paying YOU. If you don’t like the assignment GTFO of my office! Oh, and before you go… you mention the Savasi one more damn time and you can just submit your resignation. Savy Grump-a?”
An aside here, Wikipedia’s featured Article is about birdbeak doctors which instantly reminded me of Page 5 Chap. 1 of the comic. Good job you awesome guys. You knows stuffs. *impressed*
Can’t help but notice Gravedust has his scary face on in the last panel. Actually, that’s one of the most outright intimidating expressions we’ve seen on Dusty, I think…
I just keep thinking “Tell me it has savasi interests” “it does, and unless you have any other random requests, I’ll tell you about your totally non savasi related next assignment”
Discussion (48) ¬
What can these interests involve? The plot thickens.
Shouldn’t this comment have been made two pages back? *Cough*
I might be inclined as to agree with you. Let’s just agree that my head ain’t be workin’ properly nowdays :D
Hence the apparent focus on the girth of the plot.

In the meantime, Syr and Bandit get boxblocked.
No no no wait. Did anything happen between Byron and Syrnj? What happened!?! I NEED CLOSURE!
Clearly they spent the rest of the day in an awkward silence from just about being killed.
Or sex.
Either or.
Don’t be a sap.
That’s what she…wait a minute…
Time for this convo to branch out.
Maybe Syr wasn’t feeling thorny after that close pruning.

My gods. He’s planted suggestions in our brain.

That sounds like a bad “it does”. >_>
Syr and Byron’s faces in panel 4 show clear signs of unresolved awkwardness. A phrase “kiss that wasn’t” comes to mind. Much sooth remains to be said.
Byron’s face looks more like “I can’t believe I almost lost it” to me. He’s not as happy how his mission turned out as Ardaic is.
Oh God, Bandit, stop making me think dirty thoughts with your sexy looks. Why does her hair have to have an orange tinge? Dang it.
On the bright side, Colonel Pornstache looks pleased.
Just. As. Splande.
Gold Star.
I do hope Baron Splande comes back, I have a pile of unused puns.
Well done indeed.
Is it just me or do the colors in today’s comic seem more…vibrant? First 4 panels especially.
Something different happen lately?
That affirmation sounds ominous.

Now,now, Gravy DID beg.
Savasi shmavassi.
But he draws the line at putting on “dwarfface” and being all “Please massuh, he’p me!”
Frigg looks like she is wearing a comfy outfit from Old Navy. Also, I can’t unsee a little green face by her elbow.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Oh! I thought it was just a reminder of how those gnomes looked when she got done with ’em!
well, that’s damaged the main romantic thread. will syr ever forgive byron for attempting to kill her? (cultists or no?)
only time and guilded age’s so far awesome update discipline will tell.
From that picture, Syr’Nj looks like she only has one ear. If the right were as long as the left, it should show over her hair.
I agree. Is her long ear usually quite that long?
It certainly explains the look on her face.
