(First!) I’m predicting Gnometown does down in flames first by the invading Dwarven armies…and maybe the gnomes will change their minds.

Notice that the Abe Lincoln gnome is quietly accepting his fate while the old guy and the kid are throwing temper tantrums. Does this mean something or am I looking too deeply into the panel?

He’s probably smart enough to realize the futility of starting any sort of shenanigans with Frigg.

If you had to share a shoulder with that brat, wouldn’t you hiss and snarl?

The kid has good reason to shout, he’s getting the pointy corner of that shield right in his ribs.

Wasn’t he the more calculated one of the two gnomes in the first place?

If the other two insist on being uncooperative then he can work that angle himself.

          Indeed. Very useful.

Have you ever tried to wash maple syrup out of your hair? Pancakes make TERRIBLE hats.

Wait, you’re disappointed that a kid didn’t die? Yes I realize that he’s like Hob from RoboCop 2, but still – I’d have been pretty disappointed if they killed the kid.

Appropriate, as there’s now a lot of pieces to pick up. Pieces of the hammertank, pieces of the buildings it smashed through. But most importantly, they can pick up the pieces of the plot to pull down the peace that prospers the population. And on that, they might want to pick up the pace…

It’s like a Batheseda game: Children never die, don’t matter how much you shoot, beat or explode them. This guy will have the biggest Peter Pan complex of all times once he’s grown up and realize now he can die by falling down a stair.

That must be why the teenage years are so depressing; we’re all coming to the realisation that we can no longer survive being blown up in an armoured robot.
