Annotated 26-17
If faith is strength, then Tamara could feel hers ebbing even before this fight with Rachel began. She felt it as she hesitated before killing an unarmed opponent who’d committed no obvious sin.
After the way their last two battles went, we never would’ve felt like this chapter was done without a third Rachel-Tamara bout. But ironically, there’s never been an entirely fair fight between them; they’ve never both been bringing their A-game at the same time. Hestia is Rachel’s real test.
Tamara can’t see the glow, despite how panel 3 looks, but she can feel something like desert sunlight on her face. And she can perceive Rachel’s power on other levels.
“Am I useless now, Frigg? Well?”
I guess I’m still annoyed at Frigg from earlier because I’m totally projecting onto Rachel. That’s not something Rachel would ever say to her.
Nope! And if she did, Frigg’s reply would be, “Let’s see, did you heal me? YES, YOU’RE STILL USELESS!”
Yelling at the healer for not rezzing you specifically right this second. Typical!
When the healer suddenly switched to the main DPS you know you’re in trouble.
Per the alt-text, I’d still gladly make this GA Beat em up. I’ve started more BEU engines in my life time than actually make working game prototypes altogether.
that would be a sight
Big deal, she beat up a blind girl.
