    First?

Well, if they were smart, they have 5 tanks sitting out where they can bluff their way through any questions.

Be careful, Shanna! Stay ahead of the curve. You don’t want a jarring experience, do you?

She just needs to keep her true identity bottled up.

“Wow, Mr. Ferris! What do you call this…thing?”
“Well, Ms. Daly… or should that be, Ms. Cochran!…. you can call this your mIpod, but I’m gonna call it your Youtube! MUAHAHAHAHAHA”

I wish the comic went the way your ingenious pun had suggested. Probably Ferris would’ve too.

    Two ordered… more recently?

H-uh. Guess it’s time for more direct divine intervention, eh HR?

Or there are two additional “volunteers” for the system- and two Arkerrans who are actually human beings. If so, which ones?

HR ordered two more tubes on page 24 of Chapter 15 (I just looked it up). Also, re-reading that chapter I realized that HR scripted things so that the Savages would succeed in calling their God, Tectonicus, who was supposed to kill the Four. The whole plot was just HR’s way of trying to kill the Four again. The things I forget….

My guess is that Shanna is actually Kur’Ik. And either Penk or Fr’Nj is the person in the other tube, whoever that might be.

I’m confused. The monologue implies she’s using her real name, but now she’s Miss Daly, and a few pages ago she was Shanna Cochran.

Doesn’t mean she won’t use a fake name anyway. It would be playing safe as far as investigative journalism is concerned.

I didn’t read anything saying she was using her real name, just implying it’s easier to hide your real identity than one thinks (short term anyway) She’s not famous sense no one pays attention to who writes newpaper headlines so it would be easy as long as she doesn’t act like a reporter.

I know the name of the company was planned out far, FAR in advance….but ouch, the timing!

No… Timing would be having to introduce a character named Sandy right when it’s become too late to change it. This comic’s been around long enough that an a major hurricane hit was going to happen eventually.

I find it interesting that the “real world” is in greys, browns, sepias, with a generally washed out feel too it. When you get into the game, i.e. the comic, every color is bright and vivid.
