In fact, a trap you know is coming can be turned into a trap for the enemy.

Maybe not clones. He is in a video game (presumeably). What if H.R. just reactivatd someone’s accounts or created new characters that look like Byron’s bros?

This is where we discover (or are reminded) dual-wielded hand axes are standard equipment for beserkers in this game…

Is the little guy a gnome? I guess he would have to be, they don’t have halfings in this world, right?

Which little guy? There’s two of them. (Both are gnomes, though. Check the Rabbit and Tobias Gnipgnop tags….actually, I’m not sure if Rabbit is ever specifically identified as a gnome, but gnomes are the only wee race.)

Holy crap, a chopper-based pun that doesn’t rely on a regional mispronunciation of “ask”!

If we were wearing a hat, we’d take it off to you.

If you read “Consult a Cultist” a couple weeks ago, You will remember that they do not tolerate necromancy. Permanent death is kind of their bag.

Other than a certain philosopher wizard specialized in MMO evelopment, I bet they are. The Bayen/Brayen analogues are probably illusions of some kind.

That would be an odd coincidence unless the cultists set up a trap in which the Peacekeepers are lured into fighting a mutual enemy.

    Extra Unnecessary Word?

2nd panel, “Want me to lure me in.” Sounds like one too many me’s in there but maybe this odd manner of speech was intended? Doesn’t feel like its necessary but, eh, pointed it out so I leave it to future generations.
