Can’t be… we need at least one more scene showing the “boom”.

I think that would make this the best webcomic ever. Absolutely NO ONE would have predicted that ending.

Didn’t the troll cultist have a personal tag the last time we saw him? He just killed his friend at some big culticon or something iirc.

Hmm actually I’m not sure if that IS Ulak (sp?) [the troll con attendee and Ashok’s murderer] whom IIRC had big ol’ spiky pauldrons on his armor sticking out of his cape to distinguish him a bit. But I’m not positive of course; so is that Ulak in panel 3, Phil?

He doesn’t have bad chin-acne like Ulak did. Unless he got a cure for that.

Oh yeah forgot about that too. Nope, definitely not Ulak then. Ulak’s probly just barely too cool to slit his wrists for an emo group spell.

I didn’t know the Sky Elves had a tavern. If anybody could find one, Sundar and E-merl would be my first choices at this point though.

And this is where I part company. There’s only so much of “things will get worse before they get better” and thigs have been getting worse and worse on a plummeting downwards spiral for too long. Every time I check out this webcomic, I’m reminded of the Player from the play “Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead” when he says, “Things have gone as far as they can possibly go…when things have gotten as worse as they can possibly get.”

I think I might come back later, maybe in a year or two, just to see if things actually do get better. But for right now, I’ve got enough on my plate without looking for more reasons to get depressed…like coming to this webcomic.

I will restate how much I like the depiction of Sundar.
For some writers, a casual racist and child-selling bounder would be locked into bully mode 24/8.

But knowing that being upset with E-merl won’t help, he leads by example.
Truly a case of some hidden depths.

He changed quite a bit after Brunhilda died. Fightopia was an example of this, working to help people rather than simply working for the money.

Agreed, although I confess, I don’t know the chronology of all that. I thought Brunhilda was some years before his first introduction.

        Fightopia was obviously fairly recent.

Days like this I’m glad I’m not as sensitive as I used to be. Like those Tumblrtards who scream for trigger warnings and whatnot.

Wrist-cutting is NOT something I can really abide looking at… so if ye don’t mind, I’m just gonna move to the next page in a hurry.
