I’m thinking they’re pages she wanted Ardaic to see. She knows he’s a good person. There’s probably something incriminating on them. Now he has the opportunity to read them without Taro knowing.
Hey, she did warn Byron, if he ever tried to pull that berserker shit again she’d see him dead for it. The exact wording escapes me but the message was very explicit.
Well, with the gnome gang well on their way out of reach. I predict the gnome district to either rebel at taro’s imminent attempt at enslaving the gnomes, or they decide it’s not worth sticking around any more and they all pack up and leave.
It does seem as though the “World’s Rebellion” is going to keep getting more “World” in it- it might have been a bit of foreshadowing that the Savasi (this realm’s ‘dwarves’) were part of the ‘evil’ races this time.
They do have a recording of the plans, so the information isn’t lost. The remaining pages that Bandit still has will help to confirm the veracity of the recording.
The battle plans were already in hand. Yanking out an appropriate amount of grass or finding and tearing out a section of cloth would of taken few moments. Time was of the essence.
I got to agree with Bandit’s call here. An all gnome team of adventurers probably isn’t easy to replace. They already have a copy of the battle plans. And Reynolds seems like he’s already prediposed to not trusting Gastonia (though other gnomish authorities might need more convincing).
Bandit wants only the best for her gnomes. The left rump roast must be considered and inferior cut of meat. Maybe that’s where the cattle are injected with hormones and antibiotics, or something.
What she’s actually saying is that she’s rewarding her team with dinner tonight, and they’re getting prime ribeye steaks, or maybe an unrivalled right rump roast.
Ardaic, meanwhile, wll be using chilled slabs of left rump roast as cold compresses for the rub-eyes that Bandit gave him.

Gnome, gnome on the range
Where the Bandit & odd cogs will play.
Where seldom is seen
A child-king’s pipe dream
Disappears from a teleport’s cloud away.
Don’t you just hate fall allergy season, when you get bits of loose leaves lodged in your ‘lids? I mean, what good are all the beautiful colors, when your eyes are too crudded up to see them?
My fear of a wipe and perma-death for the Gnome Adventuring Team has been allayed. PHEW!
Hope those pages weren’t important.
“These pages seem to be missing a description of a ‘thermal exhaust port.’ Ehh, who gives a shit. Pack it up boys, fortress is impregnable after all.”
Watcher already has a recording of them, so hopefully that should do.
And back to jobber status he goes.
I would’ve assumed she had something else for that job. Such as cloth, knives or lockpicks.
I’m thinking they’re pages she wanted Ardaic to see. She knows he’s a good person. There’s probably something incriminating on them. Now he has the opportunity to read them without Taro knowing.
Its 1 page ripped into 2 pieces if you look closely
Unless, of course, one of them was frothing at the mouth. Then she’d drop them like a rock.
She came in like a WRECKING BALL!!!
For a gnome that’s like a BASKETBALL!!!
All she wanted was to MAKE HIM FALL!!!
All he ever got was
COLORFUL CLOUDS!!!
Hey, come now. She clearly said no GNOME in her squad, so Byron doesn’t count.
To be fair, she never left Byron behind.
She made sure to stay with him… in order to frantically stab him to death.
Hey, she did warn Byron, if he ever tried to pull that berserker shit again she’d see him dead for it. The exact wording escapes me but the message was very explicit.
Hmmm… I feel that Ardiac oversold this thing. One cannot overkill without first managing to kill.
He might be new to the whole Silver Centurion thing.
My money says that the Field Marshal has more field experience.
Uh, I think if it was only torn in half, one could still restore Death Star plans with that.
Torn in half, yes, but also left behind as Bandit fled.
Mostly seems she took only one page from it to blind Ardaic with. The rest are safely in their hands still.
Only one page of the absolutely critical war plans that we don’t keep any copies of because of !
Didn’t they also magically scan them just now? The physical plans were only taken because they were found out anyway.
No gnome left behind!
(if you whip a gnome’s butt, you can only do it to their RIGHT behind)
There’s still the possibility that Ardaic could totally tell Taro “Hey, they destroyed the plans, couldn’t retrieve them. Nope.”
That’s what she’s counting on. There’s something on that page she wanted him to see.

Gnowhere to be found? I guess they vanished in short order.
Ardiac appears stumped.
He came up a bit short on retrieving those papers.
Bandit had a blindingly obvious plan for dealing with the Silver Centurion, I wonder what Ardric will find when he puts 1 & 1 together?
Oh come on. Is there any reason she had to use the battle plans to do that, and not some other piece of fabric or paper? Or GRASS?
Well, on closer inspection it’s only one page from the plans. That’s ar least a little less ridiculous.
She could have used her own gloves. She even seems to have another set of thinner gloves underneath!
Oh, and: She also could have used her knives to just stab his eyes out, but I’m guessing she doesn’t want Ardaic to get hurt either.
I think the smaller pair of gloves you’re seeing is actually the continuation of her sleeves past her elbow pads.
Page 1 of the battle plans described the plan to grind sky elf orphans into sausages. She wanted Ardaic to see it.
Gone to parts ungnome.
Gone gnome
(Cartman voice) Screw you guys, I’m goin’ gnome!

Plus, as pointed out above, it looks like she only used one sheet.
That’s one hell of a critical roll. Blinded… by plans.
Happens all the time IRL, only more slowly.
I can’t even imagine the amount of paperwork Ardaic is going to have to do for this one.
Odd how both ‘Ardaic’ and ‘Silver Centurion’ are mentioned in the comments.
Tags, obviously, not comments.
Well comments also now, self-fulfillingly.
That’s what you get for being a stooge, Ardaic. Nyuk-nyuk.
What an ignomious fall!
So that ended differently from how I thought it would.
“No gnome in my squad gets left behind!”
So, the diminutive human is still expendable then?
Bandit wants only the best for her gnomes. The left rump roast must be considered and inferior cut of meat. Maybe that’s where the cattle are injected with hormones and antibiotics, or something.
