Frig shouldn’t worry, though. After all, it’s not the size that matters, it’s how you use it!

Having trouble with your weapon? Afraid that your mace will not make an impression on the enemy? Try out the new Weapon Enlarger™ potion! In just three weeks your weapon will be three, if not four, times it’s orginal size! Guaranteed!

Weapon Enlarger™! Never have a small weapon ever again!

I’d feel bad for Frigg’s deity, except that presumably he/she/it knew what he/she/it was going to be dealing with when he/she/it made Frigg a paladin.

OK, now I’ve finished dying at Frigg’s attempt to make the mace grow…

I was mildly confused by it, since I totally didn’t interpret the earlier effect that way.

Now I’m wondering if it’s me or Frigg who’s insane.

(Who says it needs to be an either or, eh, Neko-neko?)

Seconded. I had to go back page by page to see wtf she was referring to. I think it must be when she smashed the Sentinel? The mace gets twinkly, and it looks like some sort of holy magical visual effect at the point of impact. Was that effect what Frigg was referring to? Or did the mace actually take on that appearance?

Yeah, that’s the scene I assume it’s referring to, and it totally looks like an energy effect to me, not her mace getting huge.

Nah, they killed the god who tried to forcibly convert Frigg failed. No-one knows who Frigg’s god is, not even Frigg herself.

Given Frigg’s attitude to prayers not answered, Frigg’s god probably wants to keep it that way.

“alt text” is the pop-up text that can appear on images. Originally intended for blind people and people with image-loading turned off to have some idea of what’s displayed, it’s now in vogue for it to add a bit of extra punch to web-comics like here and XKCD.

Whoops. Forgot to say how to see it: just leave your mouse over the image above and it should appear in a second or two. Unless you’re reading on your phone or something, in which case you basically can’t see it, period.
