    Rachel is a pun-spraying machine.

Clearly, Syr’nj has some lingering issues. She’s just dating a human to piss off daddy. She’ll grow out of this phase.

She’s more of an example than a role model.

A great example, if you ask me. Though I know a woman who frequently threatens me with mortal peril (she’s actually used the words “mortal peril”) but also refuses to actually hit me because she’s certain it would just encourage me. Did I mention that Frigg’s awesome?

As far as a role model goes, mix the Frigg factor with a nun’s getup and it could easily become habit forming.

I think it sets up his pointed statement about Bandit not spending time with her “old comrades.” In one word he lets us know that he found the disconnect ironic.

        He’s just that efficient.

Yes, you can, but it would be hard to see that face without him facing us, and that would mean rearranging the whole scene. A single word does the same and lets us see a beautifull scene at the same time.

I dunno… Bandit is the quintessential thief, but she’s not the deceitful, untrustworthy type. If she’s talking to you seriously and responsibly (especially as the de facto “field commander” of the Adventurers Guild), she means what she says. And Scipio is much sharper than his meatshield role suggests.

Personally, I suspect that Bandit is the type who tells the truth even when she’s lying. She shows as little as she can, and does her best to look duplicitous, so that when she says something true everybody will disbelieve her. And I’d reckon she likes to lie by making the truth sound improbable, and deliberately tell transparent lies now and again. She plays it close though, so we don’t entirely know yet.

The “armed & dangerous” nun trope isn’t new but- DARN IT- why don’t most fantasy MMO’s and video games have such a class? The only one I know is Ragnarok Online. And a female paladin is just not the same. Now that Rachel has become a good guy, I’m getting to like her more and more.

Not really about the comic from today, but I was looking through the wallpaper and I wanted to make a request. Would you please create a wallpaper with the Byron and Syr’Nj kissing scene? I don’t know if that panel would work out or not, and if it doesn’t/you don’t feel like turning it into a wallpaper then that’s ok too. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Also, I think that I should take Frigg as a role model too. She does good just being herself, even with her …slight character flaws.

It’s just because of the angle. It’s a classic Eastwood-Squint; watch the “Dollars” trilogy, and it’s the same thing. You can only see the pupils from a certain angle.
