Or our nukes. They’ll probably be able get them too; no terror watchlists include magic-wielding shark people, so they can just walk in the gates.

Yep. Old H.R.’s messing with this so-called fictional world will result in our reality (rather his sepia reality) opening a doorway into Arkerran reality. Trolls, cultists, and goblins, oh my!

We’ll open up portals, we’ll summon up gates, we’ll call on powers, demiurges and fates!

We’ll sacrifice virgins, we’ll sacrifice lambs, we’ll sacrifice newborns and toddlers and grams!

We’ll burn and we’ll stab, we’ll hack and we’ll slash, we’ll go late at night and knock over their trash!

We’ll destroy worlds, and then worlds beyond, we’ll mess them up good and then we’ll move on!

If Brother Tom is anything like my ol’ biology teacher, and I’m pretty sure he is in fact my ol’ biology teacher, it’s gonna be … Brother Ulak, with his hands down, come on up, you’re our volunteer!

(I’m sure Brother Ulak is as eager as everyone else, it’s just Brother Ashok REALLY wants this. And who can blame him? I know I’m all about that electric green.)

I don’t comment here often anymore, but I’ll just say: I’m really digging Tom’s aesthetic. Something about the guy’s design just makes him an enjoyable villain. I think part of it is his facial expressions. The Pimp Death Robe is helping, too.

All in all, great job on the last few pages, John. Loving this chapter.
