No, I’m pretty sure that Bandit is going to endlessly criticize his use of materials, his design, actual implementation, then steal his machines, and make them way better.

Eh, keep in mind she was never really an engineer. She has some knowledge of gnomish machinery gleaned simply from living around it, same way you can recognize an MP3 player, but the actual science of it all is pretty far beyond her. It was Rendar who designed their training robots. When the savage dudes had that horn she identified it as gnomish tech but beyond that her contributions primarily involved knowing where to look for more information, and even that information pertained to the people involved in its creation rather than anything scientific.

With the team’s expanded budget these days we can be pretty sure that Bandit would have a workshop if there was anything she could do with one. Much as gnomish society is renowned for their feats of engineering that seems to be the upper echelons of their caste system, supported by the worker caste which Bandit comes from. By the sounds of it odds are if you were to pick any random gnome out of a crowd you’d find somebody with little knowledge or education beyond whatever menial task they’ve been assigned to enable the engineers and politicians in their nation-wide dick measuring competition.

In fact now that we get right down to it most of the gnomish engineers we’ve met are also politicians, which really says a lot.

Yep, that was my first thought. Allow them to glide harmlessly by, then grin and curbstomp Bert.

Here comes the trump card. I was wondering about the lack of killerbots.

Obviously “quick, symbolic victory” = “capture opponent’s flag”

But under Fightopia rules, the goalie is allowed to use dancing juggernauts.

I wish all nations settled their differences by a good game of capture the flag.

      In the style of TF2.

      Maggots!

      …Aggro Engies for the win.

Nothing is more satisfying than capping the enemy flag and yelling over mic with a thick, southern drawl “ACTION ENGINEER DEFEATS THE TURRISTS.”

I hadn’t noticed the crutch-hoes before – what a good idea. (I’m sure there is a great pun in there somewhere, but I haven’t had any coffee yet.)

So Rendar is responsible for that idea that spawned the awful Beyblade series. For that, Fightopia must fall.

They might be “Concept” designs, lol. (I’m sure the design would evolve if Bert would just add more cowbell…)

Seems rather disturbingly easy for just anyone to manufacture killer robots in this world. The gnomes, sure, but Rendar? And now Bert? Naaah. I’d nerf that if I were HR.

I think these were also designed and built by Rendar, and he loaned them to Bert.

Long story short? In a Futurama episode they essentially do a plotline that is a giant shout out to that movie. And Robot House is a Frat house. For Robots.
