Yeah, Frigg is in going for the ‘kick in the ass’ method of motivation.

To her its the only motivation that matters.

“loathe” is the verb. The adjective is spelled “loath”.

        Loki the TLDRer is here!

        Creators:
in Panel 4, Frigg says ‘beacuse’. It probably should be ‘because’.
in the last panel, Scipio says ‘loathe’. It probably should be ‘loath’. For more info, google ‘loath vs loathe’.

All credit to Catbus & Bo Lindbergh for spotting the typos.

As much as I enjoyed the put down I fear this is merely an attempt to piss of Rachel so she gets super charged on smitey powah in order to perform kick ass healing as well the actual ass kicking during the impending altercation.

Crossed my mind, too, but then I remembered this is Frigg. She’s as subtle as a flying brick, and if she were to die, would definitely prefer going out with a bang*. But would settle for just insulting some sap as she goes.

It’s possible Frigg (nor Scipio) does not intend what I said but it’ll still be to the same effect and it will still vindicate Rachel as opposed to let’s say…driving her into deep depression which eventually causes her to punch her brains out.

So, could somebody explain what the hell is wrong with these sisters? Are they practicing the old ways of the church Frigg and CO. busted up, or are they practicing their own religion different from both Rachel and the old church? Either way, were they not present when Frigg basically proved they were all wrong, and weak, and dumb?

About two or three pages back, I think Hestia said something on the grounds of outgrowing Frigg. My impression is that like many religious fanatics or any other person with a fucked-up belief system that they have spent their whole life living (aka dyed in the wool racists, sexists, etc), they simply rationalized that what they believed was still correct but made little caveats to explain why their belief system failed them spectacularly. Such as how their original Mother was weak and so deserved to die. And how although Frigg showed them this, she isn’t actually one of them, so she can’t be their leader or actual superior, so she doesn’t actual deserve their respect or have anything to teach them. They simply put themselves on the top of their sadistic little hierarchy and started making little minions to make it like home again, except with them atop of the pyramid.

Sometimes, to put up a new wall you have to demolish the old one stone by stone and brick by brick. The new one should be better, with stronger support, better masonry, and stouter materials. I have a feeling Rachel’s new wall is going to look like that of a supermax prison after she breaks down

Well, let’s see how much Frigg can chew on Rach until she botches her Fortitude save (given her O-Chul-like bulk and most systems treating talking as a free action… Rachel is getting the Duke Nukem trash-talking treatment).
