Frigg certainly knows her pricks but this is the first time I’ve seen her try and keep one out of her.

If you know the right people, life can be a bed of roses. Exercise your better judgement to avoid surrounding yourself with pricks.

Anyone else going to try injecting another pun in here?

Why is it that people are just impatient?

“These horrors are dreadful! We must do something!”
“Well if we work hard enough, we may be able to lower the tides of darkness one inch at a time”
“Work hard enough? Work with what?”
“Oh you know, help the needy, clean the streets. Those sort of things”
“That sounds like it could take a long time. I have a better idea”

And thus their dictatorship first blossomed.

I perceive that for some this scenario may be to read.

What is happening here is ginger versus gin-jerk.

I’ll leave it to your imagination which one is the gin-jerk.

Between the SotUOH fivesome’s close-knittedness, how the likes of Rachael is one of them, and any number of bitter souls who would either have it in for the Sisterhood, or want to see them return to their more wrathful ways, Frigg’s just not stupid enough to overlook the need for clarity, detective work, and ‘brain-shit’ to come first, lest the guilty get away. Pwnzerzing will sadly have to wait.

In addition, I figure Frigg wants to stick it to them (pun not intended) verbally before doing so physically. Telling them they’re wrong then kicking their asses is double the fun.

Mmhm, and it’s so lovely, their faces in in panel 2. You would think being able to talk to a dear departed friend would be something people would jump at rather than instantly make accusations that clearly make it sound like they are hiding something.

And also, oh no? You’ve had to see the horrors of war. Yeah, adventurers sure don’t need to deal with that on a nearly constant basis, even with that World’s Rebellion going on.

….I half want to hear Rachel say “Bitch, I was dropped a mile out of the sky, buried alive, and nearly killed in a half dozen other ways. Do not tell me what I don’t know.”

One: Talking about how one of you had to reduce herself to mercenary work does not evoke pity when you’re talking to mercenaries about it.
Two: “We’re not that close. I’m just the foundational aspect of your religion.”
Three: Actually, number two is weirdly accurate. Usually those who form a religion wait until the god and/or core prophet isn’t standing in the same room before they start rewriting scripture, but the Open Heart moves pretty fast.

In light of the most recent injustices Rachel has combatted, namely what happens to mercenaries when it comes time to retire, a brief stint of mercenary work funding Blair’s start-up in a more comfortable field may not actually move Rachel to tears.

I have to question how much idea they have of the hardships Rachel has faced. They seem to demand a whole lot of understanding, but offer very little of it in return.

so far they;ve set themselves up as tyranical dictators presiding over people and beating them for displaying any “sins”. and they had to stop doing that for a couple of days.

How do you not see what an injustice this is, guys? Rachel, who has worked every day and faced down monsters both literal and figurative, risking her life to help people, obviosuly wouldn’t understand.

I mean, when you think about it.they’re the victims!
