She’s already completed the first step to starting a conversation with him: breaking the ice.

Just so long as she doesn’t get in too deep. Those kinds of conversations can be quite a slippery slope.

These are some ice puns, really, but, coldnt we go one page without lapsing into such humor?

Unfortunately, no. It was crystal clear where this was going to go, and it was never going to be long before someone caved in under the pressure.

It’s like a duty that falls up on us. We can’t simply drop it.

Well, considering that all the flakes in that storm has a hex on them, there’s a lot of magic for everyone concerned to work with. And then there’s snowflakes falling on them.

Isn’t the problem that he’s already in too deep? I mean, she was gagging on him, last time.

It’s a shame they had a falling out. I guess snow elves don’t consider it cold to ditch someone. When you’re prescient, the ends justify the means.

Frigg wanted to commune with her spirit animal and she’s getting what she wanted. How is that arseholish?

Well, they might have clued her in on the sudden drop at the end of her walk. But no, I don’t think they have risen to the “most” arseholish of them all in this comic. I think the Altruists of Gastonia still have that honor.

Of all the characters, yeah, H.R. and the Gastonian ‘Altruists’ are definitely the worst, by several leagues in all directions. I meant only that the winter elves are shaping up to be the most arseholish of the three elven races we’ve seen so far.
