I don’t think you can ever truly let go of having eaten your friend, even if it wasn’t your fault.

Bragga needs a Hug. And maybe a Vegan/vegetarian Diet to try something new and less…. traumatizing.

Yeah… Ummm… The tape isn’t actually red; Byron saw the tape, his eyes glazed and he started a cutting frenzy.
Thankfully, all he had were kindergarten safety scissors, or he wouldn’t’ve been the only one seeing red.

On the bright side, the kids thought it was a panto and cheered him on.

I suppose he’d have to recruit new adventurers if they disbanded the military. The war is over, but you still have problems with assorted pirates and highwaymen to contend with.

Byron the Questgiver. He could give Deckard Cain a run for his money.

Can they do that now? Orcs are free now so there’s probably rules against that kind of thing too.

Wasn’t he drinking way back in the beginning of the strip, back when everyone started shipping Frigg/Syr’nj for about five minutes?

yes, but during the attack at the docks syr’nj did some testing to develop a serum which would suppress the berzerker reflex. took about a chapter to come up with a final product. and apparently now she has some quality of life improvements to the formula

    Get going good guys
    Guildmasters like Greggo got
    Grants to gander at

(On a side note apparently a gander is a male goose)

On that side note, I see several possibilities:

      1. Donald Duck and Gladstone Gander aren’t really cousins (though I’m pretty sure Don Rosa’s family tree says they are).
      2. Ducks and geese can interbreed in the Disneyverse.
      3. Gladstone actually is a duck; Gander is just a name, sort of like if a human were to be named “Bartholomew Bonobo”. I’d also say Donald Duck would be equivalent to “Hubert Human”, but at least some people have the last name “Mann”.
      4. Carl Barks didn’t really give a fuck about any of this.

On similar notes of obvious names, the german name for germans originally meant “people”

So I’m a bit confused, is the game still live? Are some of these people players? Some of these people just seem dressed a bit weird for normal people, even adventurers.

Those would be the patreon created characters. Though I suppose most of the them are most likely player characters as well (Karmakat being the most obvious exception to this seeing as how he is a posthumous background character.)

Also keep in mind the player characters would act as if alive when the players are offline. So the player wouldn’t go anywhere even if the game servers do shut down. Otherwise Bandit and E-Merl wouldn’t be around.

They’re all cohesive outfits. Given the unusual nature of some of the pieces, If Arkherra were still slaved to the game, that seems more likely from NPCs. PCs would get one or two pieces, then wear them with any old clothes just to show off that they got them.
