Annotated 36-33
Looks like that original berserker still has a little homicide left in it. It’s movin’ slow, but it’s still fast enough to be dangerous.
Scipio and Isidro are the only unberserked survivors we can see at this point. In case you forgot, the ones on the right are Hewie and Pyre, the two gnomish enforcer/adventurers who gave Bandit a hard time in Gnometown. Friends killing friends, that’s part of what Cultism’s all about.
Good news, Saphora! You finally got promoted to appearing in a climax and getting spoken dialogue! Less good: it’s in the chapter where we’re eliminating a ton of tertiary characters! Do you feel lucky, Saphora? Do you feel popular?
Is Pyre zerked and using magic? Or is he just using magic and gritting his teef real hard?
I guess it is a little ambiguous there! But we’ll soon see them fighting as berserkers together, with Pyre clearly using his powers to do it.
Was it intentional that Scipio’s sword looks a little like He-Man’s?
I’ll mostly defer to John here, but as far as I can see, with the jewel it looks more like She-Ra’s.
