Frigg is being rude. (Not that I’d expect otherwise of her, of course.) Still, you gotta love her “Holy shit, ghosts, awesome” expression in the first panel.

Actually, I like “His Hotness’s” look. He’s got that “Brown Trousers Time” expression going on.

I thought it was more a flabbergasted look. Or a foul smell under his nose. Definitely not fear, though.

Am I a bad person if I can’t stand Frigg? She’s bloody obnoxious. I think she just reminds me of some people I’ve known who I’d be happy to forget =/

Nah. I am officially a bad person, and I like Frigg… I don’t know anyone like her, and I wish I did.

Let’s drop in and visit one of my ol haunts. Von Caraj is bound to be there.

    Paraphrasing Frigg: “Magic arrows, sweet!”.

I love magic items with a purpose :)

Ohhh, if one of those arrows nails Carnaj will the soul release and possess him? Talk about revenge.

Frigg is not being Rude, she is just being the typical Char as a Dump Stat fighter type. Blunt and too the point.

Still, it’s rude, which is exactly how I play a dump-stat fighter!

I think it’s more like “if one of those arrows nails Carnaj it’ll puncture his internal organs and he’ll die”.

And then the tormented soul can find peaceand their final rest, like Mist GraveDust said. : D

Looking at the comic again, I recall that “dope” is also slang for “cool” or sommat. So yeah, Frigg’s being complimentary, in her own way.

Isn’t the hovertext referring to what she’s doing to the ghosts in panel 1? Check out her hand.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s referring to her reaching through Mr. Glee.
And if I was in her position, I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same thing.

That’s one of the things I like about this comic – it’s clearly characters in a game, and Frigg frequently slips out of “character” and uses internet acronyms, or modern slang, while everyone else is so “in” character all the time.

    Well, most of the time.

Also, ghost-wrangling dwarves are SOOOOO dope.

I think in times of great joy and victory, Frigg reverts back to the tongue of her native people. Teh winvikings

So that’s why he’s called Gravedust. He helps spirits rest in peace and in turn they become sentient arrows.

So Frigg has two Dump Stats, Intelligence and Politeness. Although the latter is about as useful as Charisma.

At first I thought Byron didn’t trust the ghosts. Looks like he doesn’t trust pirates. Makes sense.

Von Caraj? I do hope he resembles the histrionic Don Karnage from TailSpin!

Oh, so THAT explains Gravedust’s arrows! Here I thought he was using up souls to power magic, and was moderately horrified. But he’s just using that as a method to help them out!

Phew. That’s rather a relief, I was worried I’d be given a reason to dislike the awesome old dwarf.

Did no one notice Frigg’s hand INSIDE Mr. Glee? That IS rude!

Mr. Glee did not seem to notice, so I think it’s all gravy. Where is bandit anyway? Well, I guess she’s not involved in the party yet.. bet she was the wily party member that refused to do what her character wouldn’t normally do so the GM was like “WHATEVAH FOOL! GO TO BED” I know that happens during some of our games. I’m that annoying player.
