My running list of multichapter characters who don’t have a definitive end arc stands at (unclear ends in ?’s):
The Peacemakers: Gravedust, Bandit(?), Scipio, Fr’Nj.
The World’s Rebellion: Auraugu(?), Madam Arfa(?), Rana, Thunderpeak(?)
Forces of Gastonia: Franzington, Micholuszek, Jarvis(?), Bedard(?), Keeper Kepfer
Bi’al Vez’k: Faereksch’Nj, Tay’lr, Timmi, Kon’kr, Oak’f
Adventurers and Allies: Bert the Brave, Saphora
Miscellaneous: Brother Ulak, Weo(?)
I believe Madam Arfa has gone to whatever reward is allotted to one of the Fuzzy Peoples who has done her duty and a bit more… but I would be very happy to be wrong.
That’s because he is. Yes, yours specifically. That good shit is so good that he can see straight through two fourth walls and out of you display and into your soul.
I like to imagine he shares his shrooms with Bandit every so often. One of my favourite scenes in this comic was the time she got her whole team stoned on the Arkerran equivalent of pot.
Young sir? I thought Auraugu wasn’t ready to be leader of the gnolls which is why Sir Groff succeeded Madame Arfa. Seems like it’s the other way around.
But I’m more curious about what Gobularence wants to build. Yes I know. No questions asked.
Auraugu has always seemed to have a good sense of people. That does not, however, necessarily translate to being a goos leader, something he was no doubt aware of.
I want to know how tie-dye crossed the interworld barriers. I also want to know why Goblaurence is suddenly cockney, as this is not what I expected as a side-effect of mushrooms.
In the very, very beginning, Frigg makes reference to her (lack of) clothing being more suited for spring break than her activities called for.
That sepia world bleed-through has always been there. (Excellent foreshadowing.)
Also, I have always read Goblaurence as cockney. Especially before he ah, mellowed out.
does that cover mostly everyone? who is left… Fr’nj & Scipio?
How about HAMMERHEAD?

I worry about Rana.

Why I have her as a (?). Similar logic applies for Bedard and Jarvis.
Oh, Goblaurence. I may miss you most of all.
He has been really enjoying that wood elf “GOOD STUFF”
Goblaurence has found Burning Man.
Except in his case it’s just some poor sod he lit on fire.
I hope so. This optimistic Goblaurence is creeping me out.
It’s like he’s staring into my soul in the third panel. Must be the good shit.
That’s because he is. Yes, yours specifically. That good shit is so good that he can see straight through two fourth walls and out of you display and into your soul.
Forget third panel, in the fourth panel his eyes are burning holes straight through my brain. o_O
I’m scared.
But also intrigued by the surfing llama. Why is it wearing a full suit in the middle of the desert, I wonder?
This may be my favorite team up of the whole damn comic!
best page of this chapter, imo.
I’m with Auraugu, nothing but good can come from this.
Goblins don’t do good quality. They do great quality or RUNFORYOURLIFEITSGONNABLOW! quality.
He’s probably just going to build a steampunk hippy commune.
Sounds like a plan!
Better life by chemistry!
Perfect wrap-up for these characters. It’s only fitting that Auragu’s last word should be “HYES!”
I love doing Auragu’s voice out loud to myself.
I like to imagine he shares his shrooms with Bandit every so often. One of my favourite scenes in this comic was the time she got her whole team stoned on the Arkerran equivalent of pot.
Sillybus, wasn’t it?
Oh bloody hell, I asked a question. I’ll show myself out.
Link to that part please?
The setup is here and the next several pages they just smoke sillibus.
Thanks =)

Well of course Auraugu isn’t a goose leader, more like a goose eater.
But yes, he would probably try to solve every problem by taking a chokehold of someone. That doesn’t exactly make him leadership material.
Auraugu is just acting like an older mentor. Like Merlin was too Arthur.
It went “zip” when it moved and “bop” when it stopped
And “whirr” when it stood still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will.
Such a Marvelous Toy.
This is Goblaurence
It went ZAP! when it fired;
it cursed when it missed
And whirred as it took aim
It didn’t know
if we were friend or foe
It attacked us just the same!
They say Goblaurence’s pupils grew three sizes that day.
We had joy, we had fun
We had seasons in the forge
But the hammer tanks that we climbed
Were just machines out of time
I like the new style Gobby is sportin. Looks good on him.

Yeah, he’s always been cockney.
He’s completely stoned, but he can still get the job done. Fine then.
Good ol’ Gobby. Still a huge grump. But a happy grump! ^_^
Tanks make great for flight
A watched shroom never gets high
Where did my hands go
Oh my cog, my hands!!
Where did they go?!? I’m so freaked!!!
Oh hey, look, a tank.
Reminds me of those old ‘Nam vets who came back & proceeded to get completely stoned!
Y’know, that makes a lot of sense. Really explains a lot about so many grownups of my childhood.
Thanks for clicking on the lightbulb for me.
I love this page.
Ya’ know, for a guy that’s so much into the science of mechanics, he sure seems to enjoy the magic of those mushrooms…
