I really doubt she’s going to die. Too soon, too undramatic, to kill off Syr’s sister after everything that’s happened to her recently.

The fact that they started this chapter off with the disaster and then backtracked to the buildup so that it wouldn’t come seemingly out of nowhere tipped me off that someone was gonna die, actually. Common writing trick. Though it’s just as common to play off of people’s knowledge of it and receptiveness to it, and have them survive after all.

She might wilt, a bit. But, put her in the sunlight and water her feet, and she’ll spring back in no time.

Probably not. Scip and Frigg are currently unoccupied… unlike Rachel and E-Merl.

The roots are simply being considerate… just like Fr’NJ.

P.S. — Bandit’s probably gonna tease the shit out of the Peacemaker’s newest couple…

P.P.S. — And I suspect we’ve have to wait awhile for a Merl/Rachel ‘naughty time’ strip (in the Scip/Fr’NJ vein…).

You’ve never played any Pen and Paper RPGs have you? Primal power characters (druids, rangers etc…) constantly break them simply because they have too many uses for their abilities and adapt way too well.
