In Akerra, the characters come to winter.

Well, Gastonia and Iver have been explicitly named as “yes, they are your enemies.”

They might ultimately be able to reason with Harky…Gondolessa is probable…Don Gobligno is right out…even Hammerhead might balk at this.

The Peacemakers are already enemies of Gastonia’s government, but they could definitely get Dean Reynolds and perhaps Pardo on their side. I’m still not sure what side Canegham is really on so he could prove to be a wild card. As for the savage races Iver will not agree to it and I doubt HAMMERHEAD will feel any differently. It will take some convincing to get Harky and Gondalessa to agree. Madame Arfa will probably be the most likely to go along with this since it was her idea to seek out the winter elves and she regrets the outcome of the war with the cat people. Don Gobligno could be another wild card. I don’t see him changing side out of the kindness of his heart, but he could be motivated by greed.

I really really want Byron to, at some point, fully grasp that his other self CHOSE to have a tragic backstory. Without realizing he would be any more than fiction, of course, but still.

I choose to believe that Frigg is trying to tell Gravedust “Hey, man. It’s gonna be alright.”

I think this whole revelation is harder to accept for Gravy than for the others. His whole identity revolves around the mind and the soul and their connection to the universe. He can guide spirits to their afterlife and meditate himself into people’s dreams. He’s The Last Mystic, godsdammit! And now he’s being told world-shattering things about his own mind and soul that all his introspection couldn’t reveal. That’s gotta suck.
